Smart tracking for Spectre A.I.
Bringing artificial intelligence into Spectre is one of the things we’re most proud of. With a 2.4x increase in ROI, we’re big fans of the data coming out from this nifty addition. That’s why we’ve added another way to track Spectre A.I. success. Our team can now track whether a 20:20 was generated using artificial intelligence or our standard Spectre filters, giving us more important information about how it’s working. At the time of writing this post, 75% of 20:20s were generated using Spectre A.I. Impressive stuff, eh.
BRAND NEW: Purpose-built tool for accurate tracking of lettings instructions
Just like how we want to track the success of Spectre A.I., we want to help agents track their success with Spectre - specifically with Spectre Lettings.
Our brand-new tool, the Market Appraisal Uploader, allows agents to upload a spreadsheet of their market appraisals, along with the property address and the valuation date, which we use to check if the instruction was generated after receiving a Spectre letter. This knowledge is invaluable to agents, especially for deciding how to manage their marketing spend and calculating return on investment from Spectre Lettings system.
More product testing for faster developments

Testing is a crucial part of our development processes and we’ve just improved how we do it. Our team has created a second testing environment to make sure our updates are performing flawlessly, before rolling them out to our users. Two testing environments mean our team has more space to test their inventions, meaning even faster development time going forward.
Improvements to Spectre’s core system
Making sure our platform works without any hiccups is always our underlying focus. This past week, the team has been working hard improving the stability of the system, including:
- Making a number of smaller changes around postcard generation
- Updating how we buy title deeds on Spectre Sales
- Adding an extra level of intelligence to smart title deed purchasing on Spectre Lettings
- Looking into resales on Anniversaries
- Optimising, generating and sending one-off letters on Spectre Lettings
A boost to detecting duplicate properties
One of Spectre’s most important features is its anti-embarrassment protection. Our algorithm works hard to prevent agents from sending more than one letter to the same property within a short period of time - otherwise known as duplicates.
So, whenever there’s a possibility to further improve duplicate detection, we jump on it. This time around, the team identified and implemented two improvements; one in Anniversaries and one in Spectre Sales.
With five new developments - including a multitude of tinier (but just as important) smaller ones as well - we’ve made sure to start May 2022 with a BANG.
