Spectre development update: December 2021

Christmas might be just around the corner but that doesn’t mean we’ve pumped the brakes here at Spectre. Our development team has been working non-stop to make Spectre the very best it can be so you can start 2022 the right way - by winning a ton of instructions.

Here’s the latest on how the team has made our software a cut above the rest:

Reapit Integration

This month our team successfully managed to integrate Spectre with Reapit. Rather than previously exporting and uploading individual contacts, if agents have a contact in Agency Cloud, a Reapit product, and that property appears in Spectre, we’ll now import the contact details automatically. And for those who’ve said they don’t want to be written to, Spectre will add them to your ‘do not send’ list and save you any embarrassment from accidentally reaching out.

Our Reapit integration saves agents hours of time when personalising prospecting letters. Agents can now join the onboarding queue by installing the integration in the Reapit Foundations Marketplace, and as soon as their data is added to an account, they’ll be contacted by their Customer Success Manager.

Improved Insights

Last month, we announced our developers had also successfully integrated Spectre with the newly-launched property platform, Street Insights. And this month, they’ve gone and made it even better; the formatting of images Spectre pulls from the platform has improved, QR codes can now be toggled on or off, and they can also be positioned in several places around the postcard. All these changes give agents total control over how they prospect, and most importantly, what their prospecting materials look like.

QR Codes

QR codes are a sure-fire way to improve lead capturing - that’s why our team has added them to our ‘sold-in-your-road’ postcard mailers. When a recipient scans a code, not only do they receive a link to an exclusive Insights report with more information about the sold property, but they’re invited to create a report about their own home. Better still, inputting their personal details adds them to your mailing list so you can stay in contact and reach out to them directly in the future.

New merge fields for Sales & Lettings

We want to make our prospecting letters the very best they can be - that’s why we’ve added another merge field specifically for agents that use Lettings. The new ‘Years Since Last Listing’ merge field is perfect for tenanted letters and for creating even more bespoke and personalised prospecting materials guaranteed to generate strong leads.

And for those that use Spectre Sales, our new ‘Fee Savings’ merge field is great for agents that have a fixed fee offering, and most importantly, want to showcase how their agency is less expensive than their competitors. If agents want to add this merge field, they can contact their Customer Success Manager who will toggle it on and offer a quick demonstration on how to use it.

As well as these four new major developments, our talented in-house development team has also sped up the Successes page so it’s quicker and easier to see which letters received the most successes. They’ve also made it even easier for agents to select which title deed they want to purchase if there are multiple options across sales accounts.

4 updates in two weeks? While we may not be as magical as Santa and his helpers, you can’t say we’re not as speedy! Keep your eyes peeled for our next development update to find out how we’re continually levelling up our software and making Spectre the next-level instruction generation tool.
